- I think my AS coursework had a lot of strengths. For example, the camera work for our final production; we had a lot of different shots and we were able use the camera effectively as well as knowing what shots would be effective for our opening sequence. Another thing I think went well was my research and planning for my blog. I was able to do a number of posts about my genre and my opening sequence explaining different things and the groups decisions. Finding locations was very easy as there were woods right near to the school and we used a classroom for the beginning.
2) What could you have improved on?
- I think the opening sequence was quite general and lacked a lot of creativity. We could have improved on the story line a bit at the beginning. Our opening sequence could have also been a few seconds longer and it was really short; we didn't do enough filming days to fit everything in and we also cut out a lot of shots that we felt weren't very good or could have confused our target audience.
3) 2 Targets for my A2 work:
-My first target is to manage my time better and not do things in the last minute; I will make sure I achieve this by doing a proper timetable of when I need to get things done and meet all the deadlines that are set.
-My second target would be to make sure my production work is more creative: I will make sure I achieve this by putting more thought into the narrative of my film and doing more research on the genre I pick.
