First Day of Filming

Summary:
We filmed the bedroom scene with "Raven" and "Tiffany" talking about how "fit" the new chemistry teacher is.

We did this shot just to test the mise-en-scene. Instead of using natural light, we shut the curtains and put the lamp on to dim the setting as we wanted it to be quite a serious scene.

What went well:
The setting - Amy's bedroom was the perfect image of what we wanted for our bedroom. It was a typical girls bedroom with posters on the wall, pretty wallpaper and had a really comfortable feel to it. It was a perfect in the way it reflected "Raven's" personality; very subtle, calm and innocent.
We were also very organised. We knew exactly what we wanted to film and how many shots we thought we needed.

After 3 or 4 takes, this is one of our final shots. We will edit it to make her voice sound louder as it will probably be played against a quiet soundtrack so the audience may not be able to hear her as well as we want.

What could have gone better:
One thing that could have gone better was how serious we were about the scene. It took us quite a few takes to film exactly what we wanted due to us just giggling or being silly.
Because of this, it took us longer then expected. We thought we would be done within a matter of 15 minutes but because of the laughing and not being able to get into character, it took us up too half an hour.

These are a few of the bloopers of the day:
